Course Description

For Intro Students: A 6-week course that will kickstart your pottery addiction! You will learn the art of creating on the pottery wheel and the enchanting process of how clay turns into ceramic from start to finish. Learn how to throw, trim, glaze and so much more! Throwing is a meditative process that requires you to be fully present while enjoying the act of tactile making. Experience the clay magic first hand! For Continuation of Practice Students: A 6-week course continuation course to gain more confidence with throwing fundamentals! We will center more pounds of clay, develop muscle memory to throw even-walled cylinders and learn techniques to make functional forms. Comes with all you need to create with clay and Student Open Studio hours to practice! Cancelation Policy

WHEELHOUSE CLAY CANCELLATION POLICY Clay Play One-Time Classes: Once enrollment is booked, enrollment is non-refundable and non-transferrable to another date. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session and will issue a refund. 6-Week Sessions: To request a cancellation and refund, you must email wheelhouseclaysf@gmail.com. Refunds requested more than one week prior to the first class are fully refundable minus a processing and administration fee of $80. Refunds requested within one week from the first day of the beginning of the session are 50% refundable minus processing and administration fee of $80. There will be no refunds once the class begins. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session and issue full refunds to those who enrolled.
