Course Description

A fun and playful introduction to handbuilding with clay! A surface design packed course to make small pieces of art + jewelry while you get to know the diva of clays, the oh-so-beautiful Porcelain! Learn about colored clay, underglazes, sgraffito, mishima, texture, sculptural techniques, etc! These techniques just doesn't stop at tiny things-- they can be used on bigger projects that will sure elevate your pieces to unique works of art! Comes with everything you need to make with clay and Student Open Studio Access to create and practice on your own! Cancellation Policy

WHEELHOUSE CLAY CANCELLATION POLICY Clay Play One-Time Classes: Once enrollment is booked, enrollment is non-refundable and non-transferrable to another date. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session and will issue a refund. 6-Week Sessions: To request a cancellation and refund, you must email wheelhouseclaysf@gmail.com. Refunds requested more than one week prior to the first day of the session are fully refundable minus a processing and administration fee of $80. Refunds requested within one week from the first day of the beginning of the session are 50% refundable minus processing and administration fee of $80. There will be no refunds once the session begins. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session and issue full refunds to those who enrolled.
